The SFWC PRECONFERENCE DAY is Thursday, Feb. 11th at the Mark Hopkins!

Legendary editor Alan Rinzler, Executive Editor of Jossey-Bass, will join Michael Larsen on Thursday, Feb. 11th for the half-day Preconference session on 'How to Write a Book Proposal'. Get a look at both sides of the process--agent & editor--so you can write an irresistible book proposal.

Other sessions include:

* Donald Maass--a FULL DAY with the literary agent on Writing the Breakout Novel (all day)
* Julie Salisbury--InspireABook creator helps writers give focus to their writing. (Morning)
* Katharine Sands--PITCHCRAFT!--is one of our most popular sessions. (Afternoon)
* Robert Dugoni--The N.Y.Times bestselling author shares how to 'Put the THRILL in Thrillers'...as well as teach the basics of character development, pacing, dramatic tension and more.(Afternoon)

Class sizes are SMALL for optimum one-on-one interaction with the presenters. The Donald Maass session is a full day for $300. The other sessions are half-day for $149.
